Aquatics Department Opportunities: Swim Lesson Instructors Instructors are needed to teach swim lessons in our pool. Days and times will vary. Interested individuals must have experience, however, do not need to be Lifeguard or WSI certified. Applications are available at the front desk. Applicants are required to have current Lifeguard certifications. Maintenance Department Opportunities: Custodial Staff Member Our Maintenance Department is seeking a qualified custodial staff person for evening and weekend hours. Staff member would be resposible for light cleaning of the facility. Reliable transportation is needed for staff member. Wellness Department Opportunities: Personal Trainers Our Wellness Department is seeking qualified personal trainers. Individuals with personal training certifications are strongly preferred. Child Care Department: School –Age Supervisor- Eastern Lycoming Branch A supervisor is needed for the school-age child care at the Eastern Lycoming Branch YMCA. Responsibilities include guidance and instruction of children through creative planning and implementation of daily program of activities, ensuring safe care and management of children in a nurturing environment, and maintaining contact and open communication with parents, program staff and community resources. Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. A great part-time job for the substitute teacher! Necessary Qualifications include: Completion of an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university with a 4-year degree in a related field OR Completion of an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university with a 2-year degree in a related field PLUS two (2) years of work related experience.
