Do you enjoy helping others?  Want to earn money doing a great, fun job?  Lifeguarding may be the answer!  Our certification course gives participants the skills and knowledge needed to be lifeguards in the pool. It offers up-to-date information on how to guard, anticipate and prevent problems and take action to help those in danger. It also covers safety and survival skills every swimmer needs to know, accident prevention, guarding techniques, emergency systems, rescue skills, first aid in aquatic environments. and more!

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be certified in:

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer (2 years)

• Automatic External Defibrillator, AED (2 years)

• Red Cross First Aid (3 years)

• Red Cross Lifeguard (3 years)
