Let one of our friendly, trained staff members show you all of our equipment. Group Exercise Class Descriptions
I.A.M Yoga : Master yoga from the inside out. The Integrated Amrit Method (IAM) combines a strong foundation of Asana with inward focus and meditative awareness. “An asana is the vehicle to inner stillness and its through the inner work of yoga that you learn to manage the causes of your stress which manifest in your external world” – Amrit Desai 90 mins Circuit Central: This class combines traditional step and timed cardio activities for all fitness levels. You progress as a group through several stations all designed to raise your heart rate and challenge your body with resistance equipment. Core & More: Core exercises mixed with rounds of cardio. Bender balls, tubing, Gliders and bodyweight drills are delivered interval style for maximum results. Drums Alive ®: This class captures the essence of movement and rhythm utilizing drum sticks and stability balls. Not only is this class a blast but it delivers real fitness results as well! Interval Training: This interval based class will cover three physical avenues to improve your current fitness level – interval cardio mixed with toning. This class utilizes Step and BOSU equipment for exciting cardio. Kick Boxing: A challenging workout with a combination of boxing, martial arts. You’ll have a chance to kick, punch, and strike your way to a healthier body while relieving stress. Metabolic Effect Cycling: The science behind metabolic training is proven! See how invigorating a 30 min spin session can be. Designed for all fitness levels, you will be guided through a perceived level of exertion scale for an interval based experience. The best non-impact workout around. Muscle Magic: Tone, Tighten and firm your body from head to toe with a different piece of equipment each week. Tubing, dumb bells, Versa bands and body bars will be utilized. Pilates: Pilates workouts focus first on developing strength through the core of the body--the back, abdomen and hips which provide a strong foundation. The concentration is not only on strength but also flexibility and coordination. PILOXING® Come try the latest Hollywood fitness craze! PILOXING uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. It is a fat torching, muscle sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip you into shape. SilverSneakers®-Classic: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination. Participants will improve their functional activities for daily living, physical fitness level, and sense of well-being. SilverSneakers®-Circuit: A class for older adults, designed to improve the cardiovascular system and increase muscular endurance as well as agility, balance, and coordination. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation. Skills & Drills: Be ready for rounds of calorie scorching cardio mixed with intervals of strength training. Using rubberized tubing, dumb bells and body bars you will sculpt your way to a stronger body and improved cardiovascular fitness! Spinning: This fun and challenging class is appropriate for all fitness levels. The intensity is determined by resistance and the music tempo. Be ready for the ride of your life! See instructor for bike set-up if you are a beginner. Bring a towel and water. Step & Core: This is a high-energy cardio step class that includes Core specific training mixed in! Tabata Training: A type of high intensity training that follows a specific format of 20/10 pattern of work that repeats 8 times. Experience all the creative ways to experience short burst activities for a better, more efficient workout. Yoga: A basic yoga class using hatha style vinyasas to build your fitness level and increase your range of motion. Zumba®: Ditch the workout, join the party! This effective, unique, and fun workout combines Latin and international music to create and aerobic interval routine using fast and slow rhythms. Zumba Toning® combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party.
